The Local Contract Nurse RN - Trauma provides specialized nursing care for high acuity trauma patients in a fast-paced surgical inpatient unit. Responsibilities include managing patients with traumatic brain injuries, wounds, and other critical conditions, working 12-hour day shifts over a 52-week contract. The role requires at least 2 years of inpatient RN experience, BLS certification, and graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Patient Population: TBI, Wound, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Gunshot Wounds, Falls, Psych, etc.; Trachs, Chest tubes, Wound vacs, multiple drains, & feeding tubes.
Patient Ratios: 1: 4-5
Number of Beds: 42
Registered Nurse Requirements
At least 2 years of inpatient hospital RN experience
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
License/Certification
RN – Registered Nurse
BLS – Basic Life Support
