The Imaging Patient Assistant facilitates patient flow by greeting patients and preparing them for their examination, acting as a chaperone, uploading images and performing other non-technologist functions when appropriate. Enters data into hospital information system, transports films within the hospital and transports patients, if necessary.

Work Location: Bethesda, Maryland

Shift: Casual/On-Call (16 hours weekly) /Weekends REQUIRED

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  1. High school graduate or equivalent.
  2. Medical setting experience desired.
  3. General knowledge of Radiology exams and/or anatomy desired.
  4. Must be able to carry, lift or push up to 30lbs.
