Position Summary

Cheshire Medical Center is seeking experienced Med Surg RNs to join their team in the Kingsbury Pavilion. This unit includes custodial care patients with lower acuity and ratios up to 9:1. Nurses must be flexible, experienced, and willing to float to the Thompson Unit as needed.

Key Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
  • Must be willing to float to custodial care patients (Kingsbury) and Thompson Unit
• Certifications:
  • Required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
  • Dependent/Child Abuse certifications (can be obtained during onboarding)
• Licensure:
  • New Hampshire RN license must be in-hand at submission
  • Compact license accepted
• EMR: Epic
• Travel Experience: Not required
• Vehicle: Must have own transportation
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (must live 50+ miles from facility)

Unit Details

• Unit Name: Kingsbury Pavilion
• Patient Population: Adult–Geriatric
• Patient Ratio: Up to 9:1 (custodial care)
• Dress Code: Traveler-provided professional scrubs (no logos)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays:
  • Thanksgiving + weekend
  • Christmas Eve/Day + weekend
  • New Year’s Eve/Day + weekend
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Orientation: 0 hours (non-billable)

• New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
  • Holiday window: 12:00 AM day of – 12:00 AM day after
