Job Description
As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will provide specialized clinical therapies to neonatal and pediatric patients across various settings, ensuring high-quality care through a multidisciplinary approach. This role involves critical assessments, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patient condition and develop respiratory care plans
Administer diagnostic tests and procedures
Respond to respiratory emergencies
Maintain artificial airways and provide mechanical ventilation
Initiate patient and caregiver teaching
Document observations related to patient care
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training
Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program
