Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Resource Pool in Gainesville, GA. This is a 12-week night shift travel assignment in a dynamic environment with the opportunity to serve across multiple hospital campuses.

This position supports a Level 1 Trauma Center and requires nurses who are adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable floating between facilities.

 

Assignment Details:

  • Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts), 3x12s per week
  • Weekly Hours: 36
  • Meal Break: 30 minutes
  • Start Date: 10/07/2025
  • End Date: 01/03/2026
  • On-Call: Not required

     

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to Med/Surg patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across multiple facilities
  • Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Flexibly float to different units and campuses as needed
  • Use Epic EHR for documentation and charting
  • Provide care within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
  • Attend orientation and schedule planning with Resource Pool Support team upon arrival
  • Commit to scheduling standards, including every other weekend
  • Block scheduling may be available but not guaranteed weekly

Required Credentials:

  • Active GA RN license or Compact License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
  • NIHSS certification – required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience
  • Prior float experience preferred
