The Community Health Centers is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife! The Certified Nurse Midwife provides inpatient and outpatient obstetric and women’s health patient care. Provides team support for Community Health Centers patients as part of a shared pool with family physicians who practice obstetrics. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
A) Education & Experience:
Degree from an accredited Nursing School and certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner
clinical experience working in an ambulatory care setting and hospital preferred
B) Licensure, Certification or Other Requirements:
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Registered Nurse (RN)
Board certification by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) or the ACNM Certification Council
CPR certified
DEA certified
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provides and manages care of women during labor and delivery Provides outpatient obstetric and women's health care. Works collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants Participates in Ob on Call Refers patients to appropriate specialty care.
