Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical systems
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment calibrations
Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and power transmission systems
Safely operate and maintain industrial tools and mobile equipment
Collaborate with Electrical Maintenance Technicians on maintenance tasks
Adhere to safety protocols
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
Strong skills in machining and welding
Hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, and plumbing expertise
Power transmission systems knowledge
Experience with overhead crane troubleshooting and repair
Proficient in rigging and lifting procedures
Skilled in using precision measuring tools
Preferred Qualifications
Journeyman Certification or completion of a formal apprenticeship program
Hands-on experience with SMAW, MIG, and/or TIG welding
Previous work experience in the steel or heavy manufacturing industry
Fabrication skills and basic understanding of electrical systems
Up-to-date safety certifications
