Unit Overview:

Beds: 2 Cath Lab suites

Staffing: 4-person team per patient (including Cath Lab scrub techs)

Ratios: 1:1

Equipment: GE Cath Lab, IVUS, Volcano

EMR: Merge-Cath Lab & Meditech

Schedule: 40 hrs/week; call required (1 weekend/month, 1–2 days/week)

Floating: Cath Lab & outpatient stress tests

Requirements:

RNs & Techs: BLS, ACLS

Techs: KY Rad Tech license, ARRT, RCIS

Minimum 2 years Cath Lab procedure experience

At least 1 year Cath Lab travel experience

Procedures Performed:

Left & right heart caths

TEEs

Cardioversion

Pacemaker & defibrillator implants

Tilt tests

Stress tests
