Join Cargill as an Experienced Electrician and be part of a dedicated team that provides high-quality food products while ensuring safe and sustainable operations. This full-time role involves designing electrical projects, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in design of electrical projects and install electrical equipment
Consult with operators, supervisors, and engineers to plan layout of equipment
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation
Repair, install and adjust equipment, machines, and defective components
Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, and calibrations
Work extended shifts to support the facility
Communicate effectively and courteously in a team environment
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must be able to operate machinery
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills
Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, and work in confined spaces
Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude
Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts
Must have very good time management skills
Must be able to perform electrical maintenance trade
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with wiring and programming Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers
Experience using electrical test equipment for analysis and troubleshooting
Knowledge of the National Electric Code
Apprentice, Journeyman or above license with the state of Nebraska or equivalent
A 2-year degree in electromechanical, electrical system, or equivalent
