Job Description

Join DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital as a Radiology Technologist, where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care through diagnostic imaging. You will work in a dynamic environment, supporting a variety of medical services and enhancing patient outcomes across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
Verify patient identity and review medical records
Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history
Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits
Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images
Review images and communicate data to the radiologist
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
Provide post-care instructions to patients
Participate in process improvement activities
Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
Take call/standby as required

Required Qualifications

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
