Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct respiratory care to patients in all areas of the hospital
Respond to emergency situations and perform appropriate patient assessment
Perform respiratory care procedures according to physician orders
Demonstrate proficiency with multiple respiratory devices
Perform ABGs and process according to department procedure
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree or Graduate of a Technical School
1 Year of Experience
Kansas Respiratory Therapist License
BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
NRP if working in the NICU
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
1 Year of Position-Related Experience
American Association of Respiratory Care Certified Pulmonary Function Tech or Registered Pulmonary Function Tech
2 years clinical experience for new grads acceptable in lieu of 1 year of work experience
