Key Responsibilities

  • Manage food cost, food waste, staffing, HACCP, and cleanliness
  • Supervise the Assistant Kitchen Manager
  • Ensure proper staffing and compliance with procedures
  • Maintain inventory and orders
  • Ensure kitchen equipment functionality
  • Participate in hiring and training staff
  • Create schedules for kitchen staff
  • Work within a budget to minimize waste

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of kitchen management experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant
  • Strong culinary knowledge
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Financial understanding of sales, costs of sales, and labor

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish)
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and maintenance
  • Willingness to run occasional front of house shifts
