Job Description
Join Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital as a Radiation Therapist I, where you'll implement treatment plans for cancer patients using advanced radiation technology. Be part of a dedicated team that is committed to providing exceptional patient care and improving health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic and patient care services to deliver radiation therapy as prescribed by a physician
Determine and deliver appropriate patient treatment plans in collaboration with physician and dosimetrist
Monitor and document patient's condition, reporting any adverse reactions
Assess and educate patients according to specific department protocols
Position patients and select anatomic/technical parameters accurately
Check and adjust necessary equipment, including linear accelerator
Required Qualifications
Board certified Registered Radiation Therapist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), R.T.(R)(T) in good standing
Current state licensure in state in which employed
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Experience with radiation oncology, specific electronic medical records, recording and verifying
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with external radiation therapy, IMRT, IGRT, and CT simulation
