Key Responsibilities
Provide therapy services as per the patient’s Plan of Treatment
Assist in vocational/education programs to enhance task performance
Design/adapt equipment and environments to improve function
Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction as directed by the Occupational Therapist
Document observations and prepare clinical notes
Instruct patients and families on home programs and adaptive equipment
Participate in care coordination and discharge planning
Design community reintegration activities
Required Qualifications
Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
Current CPR certification
Good organizational and communication skills
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of six months occupational therapist assistant experience
Home Health experience
