Job Description
Join Kaiser Permanente as a Licensed Masters Mental Health Professional where you will provide essential mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create effective treatment programs and support individuals and families in navigating their mental health journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates clinical treatment programs
Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Prepares intake summaries, treatment plans, and maintains ongoing confidential records
Collaborates with physicians in screening and evaluating patients for psychotropic medications
May supervise Post Masters Fellows and Associate professionals as needed
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare from a clinical track, Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) AND Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Couples and Families Endorsement (California) within 24 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Preferred Qualifications
Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team
Previous clinical responsibility including crisis intervention and psychotherapy
Demonstrated commitment to quality of service and teamwork
Ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner
