Responsibilities As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Southpointe Care and Rehab, your crucial contributions will include: Accurately administering medications to residents in strict accordance with their individualized care plans and physician orders. Skillfully performing treatments as assigned by the physician's orders, always operating within your scope of practice. Thoroughly reporting and meticulously recording the resident's condition and the care provided, including any subtle or significant signs and symptoms that may indicate a change in status. Ensuring all duties are performed in strict adherence to local, state, and federal guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance. Undertaking other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator, contributing to the smooth and effective operation of the facility. Qualifications We're looking for individuals who demonstrate: The ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of a team. Proficiency in basic computer skills for documentation and communication. Previous long-term care experience is preferred, though not strictly required ; we are open to training motivated individuals.
