A School-Based Occupational Therapist provides therapeutic services to school-aged children to enhance their fine motor and sensory integration skills. They assess and evaluate students with physical or cognitive impairments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual needs. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and maintaining confidentiality of student information are key aspects of this role.

Position Summary:
The position of School-Based Occupational Therapist provides coordinated Occupational therapy to school-aged children. They plan, implement, and evaluate students to provide appropriate fine motor and/or sensory integration skills. They evaluate occupational roles and occupational performance of students with physical and/or cognitive impairments. They provide interventions based on student deficits and they collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
