Job Description

Join Quill, part of Staples, as an Inside Sales Manager and lead sales efforts for a significant account portfolio. Drive new business growth and enhance customer relationships while contributing to a supportive and inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales results for assigned book of accounts with large sales (approximately $8-10M+)
  • Acquire new business and grow sales while managing the current customer base
  • Map accounts and identify core and specialty category opportunities
  • Create and maintain an understanding of accounts, building strategic growth plans
  • Utilize enablement tools to manage customer data and advance sales opportunities
  • Execute sales strategies through various channels including phone, email, and on-site visits

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years sales experience in Account Management and/or Business Development
  • Availability to travel (up to 4x per year)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience working with large complex accounts
  • Sales quota responsibility with a track record of exceeding quota
  • Experience managing complex deals from start to finish
  • Experience with business-to-business sales process
  • Account retention and growth responsibility
