ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona.

RN - ICU Adult
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Self-scheduling system with scheduler's right to rebalance schedule
• Required to work 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
• Holiday requirements based on core staff rotation
• Must have Level 1 trauma experience
• 2 years ICU experience required with experience in 600+ bed teaching facility
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
• Pass/fail SIMs Lab on day 1 of orientation including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Required to float among all ICU areas and MedSurg/Tele units
• May be required to float to St. Joseph Westgate campus
• Must have own vehicle for travel
• Dress code requires navy scrubs, natural hair color, no facial piercings
• Men must be clean shaven for fit test
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must be competent in titrating drips and reading/interpreting telemetry strips
• Work with various patient populations including trauma, surgical, and medical ICU patients
• Perform bedside procedures including bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and hemodialysis catheter placements
• Use Cerner charting system
• 2 shifts unit-specific orientation provided
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

This major healthcare facility operates as a 600+ bed teaching hospital with comprehensive critical care services. The facility features a 120-bed ICU consisting of SICU, MICU, and Trauma ICU units with 40 beds each. The hospital maintains Level 1 trauma designation and provides 24/7 intensivist coverage with respiratory therapy support around the clock. The facility utilizes advanced ventilation equipment including Cervo I, Jets, and Oscillators, and offers complex services including organ transplants and specialized trauma care.
