Key Responsibilities
Oversee nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care
Assign staff according to policies and ensure equal distribution of duties
Complete rounds to assess residents and resident care
Identify and report concerns and needs to appropriate staff members
Manage staff performance and discipline as necessary
Revise care plan needs and implement nursing interventions
Participate in the direct delivery of patient care
Maintain a safe, comfortable, clean environment
Complete monthly QAPI and daily nursing labor forms
Attend Team Leader and CNA meetings
Required Qualifications
Current LPN in the state you will be working
Two years long-term care supervisory experience
Three to five years long-term care experience or similar nursing experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, manage time and organize daily schedule
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift heavy objects using proper lifting techniques
Ability to transfer and move residents weighing 200+ lbs
Ability to push and pull equipment weighing in excess of 40 lbs
Manual dexterity and coordination
Ability to perform necessary documentation
Visual acuity
Ability to manage a diversity of activities
