Job Description
ABF Freight is seeking a CDL-A Local Driver/Forklift Operator in Salt Lake City, UT. This role involves the pickup and delivery of cargo and includes loading and unloading duties, ensuring efficient resource use while complying with regulations. Key Responsibilities
Load and unload cargo
Perform various tasks including tractor/trailer inspection and cargo delivery
Exercise independent judgment for efficient resource use
Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets
Operate a forklift as needed
Required Qualifications
Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
Minimum 21 years of age
Good stable work record
Safe driving record
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
