Job Description

Join DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services. You'll perform diagnostic exams, interact with patients, and ensure the best care in a renowned medical facility.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing imaging equipment
Verify patient identity and review medical records
Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history
Explain procedures to patients including risks and benefits
Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images
Review images and communicate data to radiologist
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
Provide post care instructions to patients
Participate in process improvement activities
Provide imaging education to residents, students, and new employees
Take call/standby as required

Required Qualifications

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
Successful completion of American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training by end of orientation
