Key Responsibilities
Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
Prepare ingredients for cooking (peeling, chopping, etc.).
Recognize quality standards in fresh produce and proteins.
Accurately cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and hot food products.
Cook food using various techniques (stir frying, grilling, etc.).
Follow recipes and plating guides for consistent product.
Ensure timely and high-quality food service.
Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment.
Assist in food storage and rotation according to hotel procedures.
Clean and sanitize cooking line and equipment after meal periods.
Practice safe work habits to avoid injury.
Follow Health Department and Company regulations regarding food safety.
Support any position in the kitchen as needed.
Required Qualifications
Fundamental cooking knowledge
Knowledge of order/fire system
Available to work a varied schedule that will include evenings and weekends
Passion for food and fresh ingredients
Minimum of 1+ year cooking in a restaurant environment
