Key Responsibilities
Adjust complex auto bodily injury claims and UM/UIM claims
Investigate loss details and determine legal liability
Evaluate, negotiate, and adjudicate claims appropriately
Manage assigned claims workload and provide timely updates
Collaborate with team members and vendors for claims resolution
Deliver best-in-class member service
Support workload surges and CAT response operations
Ensure compliance with risk and compliance policies
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
4 years auto claims and injury adjusting experience
Advanced knowledge of auto claims contract and relevant laws
Advanced negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Strong time-management and decision-making skills
Proven investigatory and problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
Ability to exercise financial judgment and discretion
Advanced knowledge of coverage evaluation and loss reserving
Insurance adjuster license within 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of catastrophic injury experience
Experience handling UM/UIM injury claims
College Degree (Bachelor’s or higher)
