Job Description
Join Fisher Industries as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a key role in our construction projects. Operate various heavy machinery, maintain equipment, and ensure safety while contributing to innovative infrastructure solutions. Travel is required for this dynamic position.
Key Responsibilities
Operate equipment efficiently to meet production goals
Assist with setup and teardown of plants
Perform general maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and plants daily
Lift objects weighing 80 lbs regularly
Use a shovel to move material as needed
Conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment
Comply with safety guidelines and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to operate equipment efficiently
Mechanical knowledge of equipment for routine maintenance
Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
Acceptable MVR in accordance with company policy
MSHA part 46 and/or part 48 certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to work under adverse weather conditions
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Ability to work well in a team environment
Travel will be required
