As a Production Supervisor on the third shift, you will ensure productivity and quality standards are met while providing leadership to your team. You will be responsible for training employees, managing performance, and promoting workplace safety in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Train and provide an environment for employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity
Plan and schedule manpower, materials, product, and machines effectively
Manage employee performance and provide feedback
Promote department and company goodwill through communication and involvement
Investigate areas of quality improvement and cost reduction
Promote safety throughout the work area
Required Qualifications
1 or more years of previous Supervisory experience
Effective communication both orally and in writing
Capable of independent decision making
Must have basic computer knowledge
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Must be able to work assigned hours/days including occasional weekends
Preferred Qualifications
Poultry or food industry experience
Previous leadership skills with 20 or more employees
