Key Responsibilities
Connecting, disconnecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
Operating trucks and equipment safely.
Installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing access lines.
Performing construction work for digging holes and laying cable.
Reading and interpreting engineering plans and vendor specifications.
Climbing ladders and working aloft.
Working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL.
Preferred Qualifications
A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
Completed Verizon Technician Program or similar programs covering electrical or lineman training.
