Job Description
As an Information Risk Consultant, you'll define and implement an enterprise-wide program to enhance Governance capabilities for Data Risks. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will influence the necessary tools and processes for effective Data and AI Governance, ensuring the responsible use of data across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the process to identify new requirements or gaps for Data and AI Governance tools
Build relationships with Business Units to understand their maturity level and pain points
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Development teams, and Governance and Risk departments
Interact with vendors to ensure quality of service and identify improvement opportunities
Support teams in operational activities for Data and AI Governance
Lead non-technical aspects of tool implementation as Product Owner for specific capabilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Management, Analytics or similar
8+ years of experience in Data Governance, Information Governance, or Data Management programs
8+ years of experience in strategic, cross-functional initiatives with change management
5+ years of experience creating materials for executive level audience
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of widely accepted data governance frameworks
Relevant professional certifications from DAMA, ARMA or ISACA
Ability to work independently on strategic initiatives
Expertise with Data Governance platforms like Alation, Collibra, Informatica or InfoSphere
