Job Description

As an Information Risk Consultant, you'll define and implement an enterprise-wide program to enhance Governance capabilities for Data Risks. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will influence the necessary tools and processes for effective Data and AI Governance, ensuring the responsible use of data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the process to identify new requirements or gaps for Data and AI Governance tools
  • Build relationships with Business Units to understand their maturity level and pain points
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Development teams, and Governance and Risk departments
  • Interact with vendors to ensure quality of service and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support teams in operational activities for Data and AI Governance
  • Lead non-technical aspects of tool implementation as Product Owner for specific capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Management, Analytics or similar
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Governance, Information Governance, or Data Management programs
  • 8+ years of experience in strategic, cross-functional initiatives with change management
  • 5+ years of experience creating materials for executive level audience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of widely accepted data governance frameworks
  • Relevant professional certifications from DAMA, ARMA or ISACA
  • Ability to work independently on strategic initiatives
  • Expertise with Data Governance platforms like Alation, Collibra, Informatica or InfoSphere
