RN – ICU Pediatrics (Night Shift)

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to a diverse group of pediatric ICU patients with both simple and complex medical needs.
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
• Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products.
• Collaborate with patients and families to create individualized care and discharge plans.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric ICU or relevant critical care experience.
• Strong knowledge of nursing theory, procedures, and care techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Active RN license in Oklahoma or compact multistate license (eNLC)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA
