Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and administration of survey instruments
Meeting planning and support
Keep track of project plans and budgetary expenditures
Schedule research team meetings and update project plans
Draft IRB applications and submit application for approvals
Draft regulatory and project reports
Review and audit case reports for accurate data collection
Assist with building research instruments using standard survey tools
Work with PI and other research staff in data synthesis and interpretation
Conduct literature reviews on assigned research topics
Contribute to data analysis and quality control
Update research materials and submit to IRB
Assist with the design of outreach materials and educational tools
Coordinate and contribute to collaborative research activities
May supervise and support other staff
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts degree in an applicable social science related field
General understanding of scientific theory and methods
General computer skills and ability to quickly learn and master computer programs
Ability to work under deadlines with general guidance
Excellent organizational skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with human study participants
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of taking initiative and problem-solving
Experience with standard medical research database and survey programs
Experience with NVivo or equivalent software
Experience using statistical software such as R or STATA
Experience with collaborative software programs
Substantial experience with standard software packages including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong skills in developing and maintaining community partnerships
Ability to work with diverse populations
Prior research experience in social science, public health, or medical research
Prior experience in developing literature review or research reports
Professional level fluency in Spanish
