Job Description
Join Winship Green as an MDS Coordinator where you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate assessments and enhancing resident care. Your expertise will contribute to personalized care plans and compliance with regulations, all while working in a supportive environment focused on making a difference in the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Complete and assure the accuracy of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments for residents
Determine Patient Driven Payment Method (PDPM) and associated expenses
Monitor Case Mix Index (CMI) scores for potential risks or changes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for accurate data collection
Provide insights and ongoing education to facility staff
Required Qualifications
Valid RN license in the State of Maine
Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree or certification
Direct care experience in a long-term care setting
MDS Coordinator or Clinical Reimbursement Specialist experience
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing MDS
