Key Responsibilities
Consistently performs high quality digital mammograms
Follows established protocols based on the individual patient and ordered exam
Explains procedures and observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during exam
Uses radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations
Evaluates images for technical quality
Maintains cleanliness of the mammography machine and associated equipment
Required Qualifications
High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
Active WA state license or pending application
Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certified or board eligible in Mammography
Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by the ARRT
