Job Description
Join Sysco as a Transportation Supervisor, where you'll lead and oversee delivery staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards while fostering a productive and engaging work environment. Your leadership will directly impact service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily work and safety of Delivery Associates
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
Manage labor hours and supplies within budget
Prepare work schedules
Oversee selection and utilization of company assets
Organize required repairs
Review delivery functions and productivity reporting
Suggest efficiency ideas and assist with implementation
Communicate with Sales Management and Marketing associates
Visit customer locations to address issues
Maintain open communication with associates
Coordinate efforts with the Safety department
Execute management functions of staff selection and development
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years related experience
Ability to complete a Sysco approved defensive driving program
Valid Class A Commercial Driver License meeting Company standards preferred
Preferred Qualifications
2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major
