Security Clearance: Uncrewed Systems comprises unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) and autonomy software.

Inspect HII built assemblies to ensure compliance with drawings, process sheets and specifications.
Enter defect information into MRP system.
Work with engineering, and manufacturing staff to resolve manufacturing quality issues.Collaborate with engineering to develop specific in-process inspection checklists.
As needed, assist with receiving inspection of machined parts and electrical components/cables either manufactured or purchased to ensure compliance with drawings/specifications.
Interact with government inspector as required.
Maintain a professional manner to enhance the company's image with vendors/customers.
Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds. Uses various measuring devices and testing equipment. Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Performs line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
Electro-mechanical in-process inspection skills for a manufacturing assembly environment
Continuity, voltage, and circuit test inspection
Interconnection cable assembly inspection/manufacturing background
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
Bonus Points for...
Knowledge of standard MS Office applications and DeltekCP MRP System.
Shop/fabrication inspection skills and relative experience with measurement tools, both analog and digital.
CMM Inspection systems skills with Hexagon metrology or equivalent systems
Familiar with operating in an ISO9001 certified Quality Management System
IPC 610 and/or 620 certification for CCAs and Cable Assemblies
Fundamentals in Electronics and test equipment for in process inspections
May require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level. May encounter extremes of temperature, pollution, humidity, noise, and other environmental factors while collecting data, observing performance of task teams.
