RN - MS/Stepdown
Job Details:
• Work on 4W Surgical Transplant, a mixed stepdown and acute care floor
• Provide nursing care to post-surgical kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients
• Care for pre-transplant patients undergoing evaluation during inpatient stay
• Monitor patients closely for infection, rejection, and ensure timely medication delivery
• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observing patient manifestations
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Stepdown/PCU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Transplant experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
