ABOUT THE ROLE
The position is responsible for the efficient, safe and profitable operation of all site equipment and workteam. For advising as well as making recommendations to the plant Manager/Supervisor concerning the best interests of the operation when the activities of his/ her work team and equipment are involved.

This position is located in Dallas, TX.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Exceeds customer expectations.
  • Prioritizes work and manages time effectively to ensure customer's needs, staff training and administration duties are fulfilled.
  • Understands current and future needs of the business and customers and provides input to the Plant/Area Manager or Supervisor in order to meet those needs.
  • Drives productivity, motivation and morale within the department. Prevents and resolves problems involving individuals which arise out of or affect work situations.
  • Motivates employees to highest potential and builds effective teams. Promotes positive and cooperative attitudes to ensure company and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures quality control of work by ensuring accuracy of data entry and order processing to achieve a credible and professional presence.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High School Diploma

Required Work Experience: Minimum of five years of production, maintenance and/or location supervision in ready mix, mining, aggregates, asphalt or related industry. Experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Required Technical Skills: Basic experience using computers.

Additional Requirements:
  • Demonstrated good judgment and discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills with focus on accuracy.
  • Able to follow established processes and/or document new processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines all the while being detail-oriented.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to function as part of a team.
  • Works cooperatively with other employees, customers, clients, and the public.
  • Able to handle multiple responsibilities at one time and must be able to deal effectively with peopleusing a facilitative approach.
  • Strong leadership and demonstrated problem-solving skills as well as excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
