Schedule:

• Shift: 06:45 AM – 07:00 PM (12-hour days)

• Days: Saturday, Sunday, Monday only

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a weekend travel assignment. The Ultrasound Tech will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with an emphasis on OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery , ensuring high-quality imaging and timely processing. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in PACS systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, specializing in OB/GYN and L&D cases

• Process and transmit images to PACS for physician review

• Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures clearly and professionally

• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively, following established protocols

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to support patient care

• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards

Qualifications:

• Current RDMS (ARDMS) or Sonography (ARRT-S) certification (required)

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program OR certification as above (required)

• Strong OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery ultrasound experience (required)

• Current BLS (AHA) certification (required)

• Proficient computer and PACS skills (required)

• Minimum 2 years of recent ultrasound experience (required)
