Join the Children's Mobile Crisis Team as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician, providing essential crisis intervention services to children and young adults in Staten Island. You'll work collaboratively to assess needs, develop safety plans, and implement effective interventions, making a significant impact on the lives of those in crisis.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor CMCT email and respond to crisis referrals
Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
Create safety plans with clients and families
Develop and implement short-term service plans
Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Assist with intake processes for new consumers
Enhance communication with consumer families
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing in English
