Job Description
Join Constellation Energy as a Reactor Supervisor to lead the operations at a Nuclear Power Generating Station. You'll oversee Reactor Operators, ensuring safety and efficiency while playing a key role in the transition to a carbon-free future.
Key Responsibilities
Authorize maintenance and testing activities to ensure equipment status is maintained.
Implement Emergency Operating procedures and direct necessary procedural steps.
Evaluate and respond to internal and external issues and findings.
Oversee special projects determined by the Operations Director/Operations Managers.
Create, revise, and review Emergency and Abnormal Operating Procedures.
Review design and license changes for procedure impact.
Review system documentation including P&ID and design descriptions.
Provide operability review for systems during off-normal conditions.
Assist in developing refueling sequences and ensure systems accommodate operations.
Direct operating shift personnel in performing plant duties.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Passing the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS)
Passing Basic Math and Science Test (BMST)
Successful completion of FLS Leadership Assessment
1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility
1.5 years or more in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator at a military reactor
Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology or physical sciences, or professional engineer license with required experience
