Job Description
Join Cooper University Hospital's Cape Regional team as a Certified Medical Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in patient care and support healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities
Set up patients in the exam room
Perform and document vital signs, EKGs, medication reconciliation
Interview patients about health changes
Assist provider with minor surgical procedures
Prepare medications for injections
Manage phone messages, faxes, and reception duties
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Medical Assistant Certificate
Ability to handle high volume of interactions
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of prior experience in ambulatory care
Knowledge of medical insurance terminology
Computer skills for scheduling
