Occupational Therapist (OT) – Home Health

Location: Annapolis, MD (Serving Anne Arundel County and the Eastern Shore)
Assignment Type: 13-Week Contract (Travel or Local)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends, No on-call)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time available, no guarantee)

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a Home Health assignment in the Annapolis, MD area. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive therapy services to patients in their homes, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to home health patients.
• Develop individualized care plans focused on patient-centered goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using agency EMR (HCHB preferred).
• Manage a caseload averaging 30 units per week .
• Travel within assigned service areas (Anne Arundel County and Eastern Shore).

Requirements:

• Active Maryland OT license – Required
• Current CPR certification – Required
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance – Required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute care or rehabilitation – Required
• Home Health experience – Required
• HCHB (HomeCare HomeBase) experience – Preferred

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Occupational Therapy.

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (extensions possible)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday only
• No weekends or on-call
