This role is for an Emergency Medicine Physician working in a busy community hospital Emergency Department with approximately 8,500 annual visits. The position involves 24-hour physician shifts year-round with flexible scheduling options, focusing exclusively on ED duties without inpatient responsibilities. Candidates must be able to commute to the facility and the job offers competitive pay with full malpractice insurance coverage.
ED PRACTICE DETAILS:
-Around 8500 Annual Volume ED.
-This EDs volume is busier from October> April with May> September having much less visits.
-Staffing will be adjusted for the busy season with added APP coverage for a 12hr swing shift.
-24hr Physician Shifts year-round.
-ED Duties only, No Inpatient.
-Friendly Community Hospital setting.
-Credentialing takes about 3-4 weeks.
-PRN through Full-time openings.
-Reasonable daily workloads.
-Currently need candidates able to drive to the site, no flights provided.
