Job Description
Join Constellation Energy as a Reactor Supervisor where you'll oversee nuclear power operations, ensuring safety and compliance. Engage in training to acquire a Senior Reactor Operator License while making an impact in clean energy production.
Key Responsibilities
Authorize maintenance and testing activities to ensure equipment status is maintained.
Implement Emergency Operating procedures and stabilize the plant during emergencies.
Evaluate and respond to internal and external issues and requests.
Oversee special projects determined by Operations Director/Managers.
Create, revise, and review Emergency Operating Procedures.
Review design and license changes for procedure impact.
Provide operability review for systems during off-normal conditions.
Assist in developing refueling sequences and ensure systems can accommodate shutdown.
Direct operating shift personnel in performance of plant duties.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Successfully passing the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST) pre-employment tests
Successfully complete a FLS Leadership Assessment
1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility
1.5 years or more in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator at military reactor
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or physical sciences with relevant experience
