  • Location: Port Huron, MI
  • Weekly Gross: $2,886 (Based on 40 hrs/week)
  • Stipend: $1,246/week (tax-free)
  • Hourly Rate: $41/hr (W2)
  • Schedule: 4x10s (7a - 530p and 830a - 7pm)
  • Start Date: 7/7/2025

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Echo Technologist for a travel assignment in Port Huron, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing echocardiograms, including transthoracic and stress echo procedures, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced cardiology setting. This role plays a key part in supporting accurate cardiac diagnoses and collaborating closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality echocardiographic exams including 2D, M-mode, and Doppler
  • Assist with stress echocardiograms and contrast echo procedures as required
  • Analyze and interpret preliminary findings for cardiologist review
  • Ensure proper documentation and patient data entry
  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment regularly
  • Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure smooth workflow
  • Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards

Requirements:

Education & Licensure:

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound or Echocardiography program – Required

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS) – Required

     

Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • RDCS – Active and in good standing

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Echo Tech experience – Required
  • Travel experience – Preferred
  • Equipment: GE Vivid E9.
