Key Responsibilities
Work in partnership with the registered nurse to support patient care
Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to complete delegated tasks for patients under supervision
Monitor patients and report their condition at regular intervals
Obtain and record patients' vital signs
Assist patients with mobility and basic tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Demonstrate proficiency in phlebotomy and collect specimens for labs
Respond to call lights, provide patient transport, and maintain a clean environment
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
Basic Life Support certification
Knowledge of patient care procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy
Completion of approved CNA, PCT or paramedic certification
