Position Summary
The Finance Manager oversee and supervises the City's payroll function. This position entails staying informed and ensuring compliance with relevant payroll laws and regulations. The Finance Manager is tasked with conducting research and analysis, providing consultation, and making recommendations to the Finance Director regarding the delivery of payroll programs, policies, and improvements to the payroll system. The new Finance Manager must apply accounting principles and practices to guarantee accurate disbursements of funds for salary and benefit payments. A commitment to the integrity and accuracy of the City's financial operations is crucial.
