Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers
Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
Engage with other departments for patient assistance
Facilitate conversations with patients regarding benefits and payments
Monitor department service levels and contribute to metrics
Meet department productivity and audit goals
Escalate needs to leadership as necessary
Verify insurance coverage and benefits
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
6+ months of experience in an office or customer service setting
Beginner level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications
Influenza vaccination commitment
Ability to work full-time hours (8:30am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday)
18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of registration experience in a hospital or medical setting
Understanding of medical terminology
Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
Previously worked for Northern Light Health
