Key Responsibilities
Ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care
Directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures
Assists with admission and discharge processes
Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services
Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to improve outcomes
Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff
Assists with staff scheduling and manages staff labor
Supports proper inventory control and manages supplies and equipment
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse
Bachelors Degree, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree
Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
Neonatal Resuscitation Program must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
STABLE must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
