Join Kaiser as a Psychologist - Adult Generalist and provide essential mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse range of patients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design individualized treatment programs and offer psychotherapy in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and coordinates clinical treatment programs for mental health
Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Conducts psychological assessments and prepares treatment plans
Collaborates with physicians for patient screening and evaluation
Supervises psychology doctoral interns and other mental health trainees
Reports safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies
Required Qualifications
PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology
Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Familiar with DSM-V for diagnosis
Experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions
Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous clinical responsibility in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy
Experience in psychological evaluations of diverse age groups
Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity
Ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner
