Job Summary
The Geisinger Bloomsburg ConvenientCare+ clinic provides patients with an alternative to the Emergency Department when prompt intervention is needed to treat worsening illness or exacerbation of a chronic condition.
Job Duties
ConvenientCare+ has much to offer, allowing you to live well in both your professional and personal life:
- $10,000 recruitment incentive
- Attractive schedule: 14 rotating shifts/month (every other weekend), no overnight shifts, and no mandated additional shifts
- Can work 100% at Bloom or split Bloom/Selinsgrove 60/40 or 70/30 mostly Bloomsburg
- Shifts: 12 hour (M-F) & 10 hour (S- S)
- Work autonomously with onsite physician support and limited administrative burden
- Support staff : Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs (available all hours of operation), Phlebotomy, Radiology Techs
- Specialized Equipment: Telemedicine carts, negative pressure rooms, continuous vital sign monitoring
- Diagnostics: X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI
- Hospital Admissions: If necessary, patients can be directly admitted to the hospital from this hospital-based clinic
- Services : Diagnostics, including laboratory and imaging studies (onsite), as well as various treatments
